@geris.kitchen: Chocolate Malva Pudding Ingredients: 2 medium eggs 170g white sugar 50g melted unsalted butter 5 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder 30g apricot jam 1 tsp vinegar (white or apple cider) 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda 140g all purpose flour 250ml milk For the sauce: 100g milk chocolate 250ml cooking cream 50ml milk (optional) Preheat oven at 170c Method: 1. to a bowl add both eggs and sugar. Whisk together until well combined. The colour should be pale and texture light and fluffy. 2. Add in the butter, cocoa powder, flour, baking soda, vinager and jam. 3. Mix well. 4. Pour in the milk. Mix. 5. Lightly grease your baking dish and pour in the chocolate pudding mix. The texture should be very liquid. 6. Cover with foil and Place in oven and bake for around 45min. Remove the foil and bake for a further 10-15mins. (Baking times may vary depending on your oven) 7. In the last ten minutes of baking heat up your cream but don’t boil. Add in the chocolate and stir until melted. If you want a thinner chocolate sauce add some warm milk until you reach desired consistency. 8. Serve with ice cream, custard or on its own . 9.
