@edwardcollins_upleveled: Did you know that the frequency of your mortgage payments can significantly impact the total interest you pay over time? While splitting your mortgage payment in two doesn't reduce interest, opting in for bi-weekly payments can cut down your principal amount quickly and reduce the amount of interest you pay over time. By paying every two weeks, you make 26 half-payments per year, which adds up to 13 full monthly payments. #MortgageTips #FinancialFreedom #RealEstate #Homeownership #GetUpleveled credit (IG): AJ Catanzaro - @motoacademypodcast SF0436

Most mortgage companies do not allow this. They make you pay forward, then hold the extra payment until the due date.

It really depends on how and when the interest is calculated it would be possible that his way would reduce the principal a little before the interest is calculated for the month saving him money

He said pay in half. How is this true that it would cut down on the principal if you’re not paying the full amount? I’m confused.

I pretend my mortgage is $1400 instead of $1100. When I realized the paying the set amount had me paying more into interest than the mortgage itself I had to make some changes
