I pay my mortgage weekly, also doing the auto weekly payments reduced the overall interest on the loan as well

I worked customer service for a loan serviced and people tried all the time and we just held the payment till be received it in full then applied it lol most mortgage services don’t allow this lol

It really depends on how and when the interest is calculated it would be possible that his way would reduce the principal a little before the interest is calculated for the month saving him money

I had to pay one month ahead in order to do bi monthly payments. Definitely recommend it.

Thats why i have my credit union take my truck payment every friday. It comes out to having about 13 months worth of mayment in a year.
