the gray was more natural, the bay(I think that's the color?) is more clean. Both did amazing but think it's better to looses the rains(?) and give them their head to jump and balance.

Grey jumped it better. Conserving energy and not landing from such a high spot. Rider got left a little more but accounted for it by letting reins out.

2 she let go of the reins to let the horse have control of its mouth and gave more trust to land on the ground correctly and safely as possible

This is really no different then a down bank or a jump/bank into water. Yeah it’s gnarly looking but it’s 5* level. I feel like the vicarage vee is a worse jump compared to the broken bridge
