Same thing happened to my Grandma. She had forgotten she had a baby. My mom was 5 months old. She had the electroshock therapy right after my mom was born.

I met a woman in the mental hospital who got ect treatments and she lost so many memories. she couldn't remember the birth of all 3 of her kids 😢

I had ECTs and it messed with short term memory but it never affected my long term memories. Along with therapy, these treatments often work well. I’m standing in the light I never knew existed. 🩷
