@sakanasyndicate: Giant Pacific Octopus immortalized with gyotaku fish-printing 🔥 This species of Octopus gets much larger than the local species we have here in Hawaii. The color is very different as well, being more crimson in contrast to the local tako which tend to be more brown/tan. Interesting to see the variation between the different species! The best part about gyotaku? Noting is ever wasted! I made a simple tempura using ONLY the large suckers from the tentacles.
