i would recommend using agencies to find ur host family! I can recommend good ones that are free for au pairs! if you go through an agency you’ll be able to find host families in central London and(1)

Popular areas for Aussies to live, Putney and Clapham. I’m in Putney and it’s so beautiful and great access to the district line. Ideally you want to be close to a tube station no matter where you are

I would say 10k which doesn’t seem like a lot but you have a weekly wage & don’t need to worry about rent etc so it’s easier to survive I felt

i used aupair world to find my family and it was good!! for the location just make sure it’s near a tube station etc otherwise it can be difficult and do research about their areas 🫶🫶 good luck xx
