something I've learned about watering... is... it's not the amount ur watering it, it's the frequency. plants only need water 1x a week usually.

looks like too much water. it's prone to root rot. You might want to add a cactus soil mixture. it will help with the water saturation.

Might be blight? Careful about overwatering, sometimes root rot can look like that.\

Lemon balm needs shade, so morning sun should be ok. They are also prone to root rot and need well draining soil. Maybe put it into a bigger pot, it could be root bound as well. Good luck my pretty!
