Actually my FICO score is why my financial planner was able to take out a $1M loan at 2.5% to invest it for better returns. We're using bank money to make money!

Having a FICO score doesn’t automatically mean debt. I have a 790 currently with zero debt. All my stuff is paid off and has been for over a year. 👍

My score is over 830, and life is no different than 750. Only real debt is mortgage. I use a Sapphire Reserve for daily stuff (paid in full monthly.) There is no reward for super high scores.

unfortunately FICO is important for most everyone. it affects the ability to borrow money for a house. It impacts your insurance rates.

So my thing is if I get rid of my fico score how am I going to rent when I cannot yet afford a house? Sure it’s great to not need it but a lot of people do.

You just explained exactly why you need a good fico score. And you can get a good score by charging what you buy and paying the bill off every month. And you can get $$ back and save more if smart
