My grandparents raised me so my mom could work full time but when I had my first child she told me she wasnt a nanny and I had to figure it out myself. I've lost so many jobs due to lack of childcare.

my "mum" wouldn't hold my baby so I could eat something and "dad" let my 8 month baby cry himself to sleep because he couldn't be bothered to get him out of carseat! No contact 2 years and forever

Yeah my parents are the type to call me and say “oh I’m surprised he didn’t ask to come over this weekend” then when I ask if he can the next weekend it’s “oh we’re actually really busy today”
