Here are the basics to get you started: 1️⃣ Choose a healthy plant with at least one node (the knobby bump where the leaves attach to the stem.) 2️⃣ Using a sharp, sterilized knife, scissors, or pruning shears, cut a stem preferably around 4-6 inches long. 3️⃣ Remove any leaves from the bottom two inches of the cutting so they don’t get soggy or rot in the water. 4️⃣ Place the cutting in a cup of water, ensuring that the nodes are submerged, and set your cup in a bright spot out of direct sunlight. 5️⃣ Keep an eye on your cutting, changing the water every 3-5 days, as you wait for a root to develop. 6️⃣ Once the cutting has developed roots, you can transplant it into its new home!
