so if a juror cannot say that the prosecutor has given enough evidence for them to say 100% guilty then would the only other constitutional choice not guilty.

most attorneys don't even get that far. they want you to take the plea so they get paid and move on. attorneys suck

It sure should work that way but implied guilt is a thing.

it's the premise of the system, but not how most people's brains actually reason, as you well know since you're providing the reminder

"innocent" seems to get sullied by locking up the person who is supposedly innocent until the prosecution proves it. Catch-22.

So for those that don’t want to serve, just say guilty.

I’ve lived in STL county since 1995. I’ve never been called and I’d love to serve on a jury. ☹️

Innocent “In the eyes of the law” is the key phrase. Technically yes but the defendant isn’t sitting there because they were drawn at random like a juror. They guilty 99.99% of the time.

sounds like the same to me. moving 0 pt doesn't change 0. reality is they are there. suspect? proof of guilt burden? disprove it.

Great explanation! My answer will likely be based upon how I can get out of serving on JD! Only called once, that God!! Was not picked 🙏 They legit picked the first 12 people

So if I really want to get picked I should say not guilty? Cause I really want to be picked

The state has to prove the defendant is guilty. Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. Should be a high bar.
