🐾 LOGAN 🐾 - TO ADOPT HIM REACH OUT TO @Castoff Pet Rescue The other day, I received a message from a volunteer named Kendall @tailsthatneedtwlling . She told me about a dog at a rescue in Blairsville, Georgia who had been waiting for a home for more than 7 years. Kendall has taken Logan on doggy day outs, shared his photos, and posted about him countless times. Yet somehow, in all these years, Logan has never received a single application. Not one. 💔 Kendal asked if I could help her share his videos, but the moment I heard “seven years,” I knew I had to do more than simply share his video. I wanted to meet him for myself. 🥹 So I asked Erika, the creator of @rescueme_atl if she wanted to join me, and immediately she said yes!! And Erika asked @Diego Rodriguez an amazing photographer to join and he also said yes! 😭❤️ Together, we made the two-hour drive to visit Logan at the rescue . What we found left us heartbroken. 💔 Logan is sweet, gentle, affectionate, and incredibly well-behaved. We were told he graduated from a prison training program and truly is the kind of dog most families dream of having. They also said he does best with female dogs his size. No one knows why Logan has been overlooked for so long… It’s almost as if he has become invisible. Logan was rescued from animal control when he was only 10 months old. He recently turned 8 years old, meaning he has spent nearly his entire life waiting in a kennel. This is not a life. He doesn’t know what it’s like to have a couch to curl up on. He doesn’t know what it’s like to sleep in a bed beside someone who loves him. He doesn’t know what it feels like to finally be home. Today, we’re showing Logan to the world because he deserves to be seen. He deserves love. He deserves a home. And more than anything, he deserves a family.
