It’s the same concept as a hotel robe. It’s there to be used while AT the hotel and if you decide to take (take) it home, then you pay for it ✌🏻

i m under the impression that they always refill these bottles and then decompress the pump, clean the appearance to give e impression of new ones for each guest… i dont think they actually dispose it

The ritz St. Louis says they charge $40 usd per bottle. I came prepared and ordered cheap bottles off Amazon for shamp/conand containers for the lotion. Emptied all 8 of them. Essentially $320 “worth”

Wait they aren’t refillable? I’ve seen hotels now using refillable ones to reduce waste. This makes no sense.

These hotels are insane. They already charge for items we aren’t using. I was charged for coffee and tea service I didn’t use and a newspaper I never received nor wanted. 🙄

Probably to limit liability too- in case user suffers allergy or reaction after taking the bottle away with them and there’s no way to verify.. well, they liked it enough to purchase it.
