Gosh if only my dogs claws were this clear it'd make cutting them so much easier, we're always terrified we're gonna cut too low and her her 🥺

Yep my 17-old girl has this problem. Also very sore in her feet so to check and cut I have to manhandle her despite her being on painmeds🥺

I've been able to trim my 22yrs olds but find the sheath stays on as she doesn't claw things anymore or walk much. how can I remove that part safely 🤔

Oh I know my old boy Gingie for the last few years of his life I had to check his claws every week. He didn’t like it. But he was so frail he didn’t try to stop me.

My cat was a Feral cat she was at Pet Smart her in North Texas after a catch & release program in our area …before releasing they held an adoption day to get them in loving homes all you had to do was pay for her shots and spaying best money that my daughter in law paid for all the fee

Teach your cat from early on getting claws cut. I held mine touching the claw with the cutter and gave treats It was no problem at all when she needed cutting because I kept touching her claws♥️
