@livinsylvan: When in Ireland, it's almost a requirement to visit a castle. My son had an opportunity to visit a falconry school and experience a hawk walk for an early birthday gift. While he was busy doing that, my youngest and I explored the grounds of Ashford Castle, and we barely covered a quarter of them. Ashford Castle has a lot of things to offer. The castle itself is now a hotel. They have a golf course, river cruises and the falconry. I'm sure there are many more activities. However, it is definitely worth checking out.
