South London has tube lines though the Bakerloo northern jubilee and Victoria line all go south

It mainly wasn’t used because it had shit old trains and infrequent services. Obviously incorporating it into a big existing network is also useful.

People didn’t use silver link because the service was poor and unreliable. Yes, having the overground on the TfL map helps, but a much bigger issue is that trains now actually show up.
