I love my copper iud! My depression symptoms and history of eating disorder didn't agree with hormones when I tried the pill. So grateful it was an option!

I can’t use hormonal bc because of a genetic blood clotting disorder. I have less than a year left with my second copper iud. I love it! Periods were heavy for the first couple months with the first 1

I got the copper one. I didn’t want anything that affected my hormones even though I have pcos. It was just distrust on my end.

I have bipolar disorder and have not agreed with hormones. So my GYN has suggested the copper one as a better fit. I’m still trying to decide bt that or getting my tubes tied.

Yeah but if you’re concerned with any type of clotting issue hormonal would not be best option no?

My periods were so heavy with the Paraguard IUD I was blaming all the heavy bleeding on it! Thank goodness I went to my Gynecologist back in March to have it removed and a pap smear!

I’ve heard some women have constant BV when having the IUD? Have you noticed this in your practice?

I have the copper IUD after hormonal birth control made my periods so unpredictable they stressed me out. My periods are awful but I like the predictability 😅

4K Close Up of a Beating Heart | (Anterior) 🫀 . . The human heart is a vital organ that pumps blood throughout the body, supplying oxygen and nutrients while removing carbon dioxide and waste products. Here are some key points about the human heart: Anatomy: The heart has four chambers: two upper atria and two lower ventricles. The right side pumps deoxygenated blood to the lungs, while the left side pumps oxygenated blood to the rest of the body. Valves: There are four main valves (tricuspid, pulmonary, mitral, and aortic) that ensure unidirectional blood flow through the heart and prevent backflow. Circulation: The heart is part of the circulatory system, which includes the pulmonary circuit (to and from the lungs) and the systemic circuit (to and from the rest of the body). Electrical System: The heart has its own electrical system, including the sinoatrial (SA) node, which acts as the natural pacemaker, regulating the heartbeat. Health: Maintaining heart health is crucial, as cardiovascular diseases are leading causes of morbidity and mortality. Lifestyle factors such as diet, exercise, and avoiding smoking play a significant role in heart health.💓. . . #pulmonaryhypertension #3danimation #cardiology #anatomy #cardio #meded #education #heartbroken #heart #3dmodel #animation #smartdoctor1 #scicomm #medtech #pharma #medstudent #pregnant #medicina #doctor #माहवारी #doctor #माहवारी #月経 #임신 #妊娠 #medicina #pregnantbelly #pregnancy #baby
