@dr.lisa.dpt: Calf strengthening, big toe stability and arch stability is exactly where i would start if i had shin splints. Then progress into plyos as you get stronger and have less pain. You can keep running with shin splints, just make sure 1. You address your running form, specifically your cadence if its below 160 spm and 2. I have had shin splints and achilies tendonitis for years. Everytime I go to train it comes back 😢. Can I do these exercises whilst I actually have the splints?
