Story time part 2: First of all, thank you all who took time to read my post a few days ago. Isabella’s birthday already passed and she is having a great time in her Happy Place, the outdoors!! Ok, so 3 years ago today, was the last day I had something that belonged to the company I worked for. When I originally told them I still wanted to keep on working for them while trying to work on getting my business started, they decided I wasn’t good for them anymore, so they gave me a week left to work. How naive of me right!!? Well, that didn’t settle well with me and I decided that they weren’t going to tell me when my last day would be… Sunday March 5th, a day after Isabella’s birthday party, I decided to write an email to the CEO, VP and Manager, letting them know I will no longer be working for them. That I was not going to finish out the week like they wanted me to, and that I appreciate the 6 years of employment, but it was time… This is not at all how I had hoped for me to leave the company, but unfortunately it is how it played out. I emptied the company truck from personal belongings, drove it to the shop, left the laptop, company phone, credit cards and tools that belonged to them, left it inside their gates, and walked out to not look back. Karina drove me back home and we all went to play in the trampoline. For the first time in many years, I was lost… I didn’t know what was going to happen the next day, I didn’t know if I was going to be able to sell enough product to pay the bills, I was already thinking of alternatives such as selling the house and moving back to East Texas…. My mind was running 1000 MPH, and was blank all at the same time… For once, I did not know what I needed to do next day on Monday. Seems like I did the right thing though, 3 years later and we are more blessed than we deserve, with our beautiful family, enjoying Isabella and Gadiel as much as we can and making memories. Karina and I always think back to that time in the trampoline, seeing Isabella happy without a worry in the world, and us not knowing what was going to happen, but knowing that God always provides… As we always say, thank you all who have bought from 1 hat, to our largest order 265 hats, all of you matter so much to us!! To all of you that share and like our content, that tell other people of our product, and to those who believed in me, even when I didn’t believed in myself… and the main one is Karina, thank you Babe for always believing that I could find a way… a way to keep on going… #trevizohatco #storytime
