@10newsau: Semaglutide, the active ingredient in Ozempic, can dramatically reduce the risk of heart attacks and strokes among middle-aged people, according to a new UK trial. The study, which tested over 17,000 people, found 20 per cent who took the drug had a 20 per cent lower risk of heart attack, stroke, or death from heart disease.
