Big tip I give to everyone is to call the hospital L&D before your arrival and ask if there is a nurse on shift that has a heart for supporting upright/unmedicated/ whatever your vibes are for birth.

I literally told my nurses I wanted to be squatted and they made it seem like I had to be on my back I only ripped a lil bit but I feel like squatting would’ve made it faster
