I prefer the Mira Advance tbh. Good job mate 👏🏼 I'd of silicone around as well. wouldn't risk water getting behind the tiles and blowing out the plasterboard.

Sooner or later that sealant will break down, allowing water ingress to the stud worker and rot it. That hole should have been repaired using any tile with the same thickness and a bit of stud work!
