hahhah omg paper charting sucks . a few hospitals in nz are electronic so jealous. I always write in captial letters as easier to read

You missed the most important part of the med chart…if a doctor charts something new/stat and doesn’t put the chart up in the file for us nurses to see….death to you sir!

Can you guys: write the actual dose instead of TT, write drug names and not brand names e.g Caltrate, write Metformin IR instead of just metformin, and notify us of stat orders by putting the chart up

We the RN & EEN’s that work rural remote that has no doctors & work by online MY ED we use these all the time to have “ stat doses” via online/phone & must be heard by 2 clinical clinicians
