Let’s be honest the pension should be a monthly income based upon a full time wage on minimum pay at the very least. If the minimum wage is what we can live on, why is the pension less than this?

My mum is 86 and has worked all her life. paid all her taxes. then she gets her pension and to pay tax on that too. shocking.

My neighbour does not have heating on does not have electric he wears 3 coats in the winter we try and help him, but he is a proud man used to be in the army, the government just screwed him over

got £17.50 a week pension rise, now council told me to pay £25a month c/tax, and £120 a month rent topup, how the hell do they work that out, already warned i owe£ 17.50 c/tax and threats of court
