My orange flavored son also bolts out the door when I open it but he just wants to roll on the concrete so he only makes it a few steps before the concrete traps him 😂

maybe he wants an enclosed patio😂 I put a catio net on my back patio of my apt so my can can go out on it with out instantly jumping over. she does like to be outside though

my tuxedo does the same thing. having window spots for him, especially one with a bird feeder, has helped but he still will try sometimes and then hates every second of actually being outside.

my cat is the complete opposite. he LOVES going outside. he'll trick me into going back inside, thinking he's done, but he'll get his treats and go right back to the door to go out again. 🤦♀️
