@chrissyrescuer: This case was sent over to me yesterday and the tears flooded my face. I have learned I will never be able to understand the evil we see. I can’t imagine how someone can have such evil and hate in their heart. I see it every single day and it’s heart shattering. Her story is one of the hardest and worst yet look at her. She runs to us. Human hands punched her over and over , then slammed her into the sidewalk til she screamed in pain yet she still wants our love. Dogs are amazing and resilient. I’m in awe of her. She was abused then taken to the shelter to be held on a bite hold quarantine because she bit her abuser . I can’t imagine the fear , anger, sadness she has felt in that kennel over and over. Being abused by the person you thought would keep you safe then being tossed in the shelter is horrific . I was asked if we can help her. Without any hesitation it is 1000% yes. She is why our rescue exists. To serve those most forgotten and failed that need a family. I will work 24/7 on saving her if that’s what is needed. ❤️You are never alone again Brigid.
