Please don’t seal cracks in walls like that. It doesn’t solve the issue and you’ll end up with caulking to remove later. Get a filler, fill it in, sand a little and paint 🥺

That small hole on the handle is actually for cutting the tube open, you don’t need a knife :)

There’s a metal pin at the front of the gun, usually you need to stick that in the front of the tube to pop it before you can squeeze the caulk out.

Yeah caulk is used for finishing and decoration. Use sealant for anything else, where two different materials meet.

You will need to repaint after you dap otherwise the dap just gets dirty or discoloured yellow, and never looks as good as if it was painted
