to me, a 9 on the pain scale means crying, screaming or throwing up. if your not doing that then it's probably a 7/8

laser is more painful than the tattoo itself BUT it's so so much faster

I had my tattoo removed with a pico lazer as well (in my neck). I would rate the pain a 6/7 out of 10.. difference was that I did not use a numbing cream but they used a cooler (blowing cool air) 1/2
