when I was a kid, I remember for some reason everyone made a chain by holding hands and then once the first way hit, it was Iike I was a baseball and then the wave was the bat

I remember when my kids were younger one of them got a scrape from the bottom of the pool and the lifeguard didn't even know what a Band-Aid was, a groundskeeper had to take us to a first aid station

Ironically the SAFEST place to be is in FRONT closer to ropes. Just jump right when the wave comes. You'll float gently n come back down. The shallow is the injury zone.
