This looks delicious! I always have a problem using chile powder as I feel it gives a grainy texture so I usually rehydrate and use the chile pods. I'm always looking to cut a corner and use powder.

Looks wonderful. I grew up in a predominantly Mexican hood & always was jealous of what other kids' moms cooked. I was so excited when my brother married a Mexican woman, but she doesn't cook. 😢
