My biggest negative is that it’s a little bit lonely! Still an SRNA but I find that it’s not quite as social (?) of a job as bedside nursing

Another one is that there are so many egos to deal with. Of course, this will vary according to facility, specialty, etc. but the OR is not a friendly place.

Most stressful thing is juggling child care/family time, especially for new moms. I’ve been a CRNA over 20 years and that’s by far the most stressful aspect I dealt with.
