Nobody doubles up wires like that. You shouldn’t even have 2 wires. Pigtails with one set of wires per device unless it’s a gfi to protect the next recep in line

Feeding through on a receptacle is also bad practice. I have replaced countless receptacles burnt up from this practice

I really don’t know why they put two terminals on these. It’s not good practice to rely on that little tab as a conductor. Use a pigtail.

Never double creates a loose connection pig tail together so you only have one wire per terminal
