"Scientists know exactly how to CREATE a poor caregiver, and SO DOES THE GOVERNMENT." This hit hard 👏👏👏

i'm proud of her, when tragedies happen people always say "well why didn't mom just ask for help?" but there's really no safe way to ask for help, she is doing what she has to

I am so proud of her. It takes courage to ask for help and make tough decisions in the best interest of her children.

I don’t think society gets how isolating and restrictive MH is.Fathers,if they are in the picture, consistently get to have their careers and goals while mothers are usually putting theirs on hold

Unfortunately my mother had to hand over us kids to her sister to be taken care of, my aunt, to pick up the pieces of her life after my dad went to prison, and after 6+ months, she had a new apartment

These circumstances are created by our systems! Ty for highlighting this and having compassion toward this family. Praying for their reunification

How could anyone shame her for this? She took them somewhere safe, how many other similar situations have ended badly. I hope she gets the help she needs ❤️

I understand and agree with everything you said but 5kids is when you get tired? I can understand 1 or 2 but 5? why is it some of us learn this lesson with none or 1 but it takes others 5 tries?

As a single bereaved mom who is currently homeless with my 2 year old I can empathize. I can’t imagine how hard it must’ve been for her. I don’t have support and she probably didn’t either.

As someone who has a 1 year old, I also think part of the problem is a lack of a “village” on top of everything else. My baby had colic and I barely survived. Nobody came to help-
