The hard part for me is bust and hips in Japanese clothes. So many plus size inclusive brands do not have a large enough bust or hips/thighs. Some do, but very, very few.

There’s a lot of “oversize” stuff in Japan as well, it will obviously not fit as oversize depending on the size of the wearer but it will fit. Same as US, I’ve seen a mens XL wear a brandy sweatshirt

as someone who is nearly 300lbs I'm sure I could find some Japanese clothes but my chances of finding cute J-fashion feels so low. the biggest sizes I've seen are 5-6xl.

I'm a US mens 2XL and I have both a one size hoodie from Alter Venomv and a one size cardigan from Drug Honey. The unisex brands especially go pretty big and basically always list measurements!

it’s also based on how the clothes is supposed to be styled based on the size. like some clothes are meant to be more form fitting while others are meant to be oversized

when I was in Japan my tour guide told me to just buy a size up from what I would normally buy, even then I still bought in my normal size AND got a shirt on a size up bc the normal size wouldn't fit

I've been to Japan as a Size 8 and as a Size 14 and at a Size 14, it's possible but a lot more difficult. Depends on the brand, Listen Flavour is good for bigger sizes whereas Liz Lisa is tiny so
