Had staff duty after 0900 went home to sleep, then get called during luch hours to take a pp test. Keep in mind i was dead asleep and was threatened to get a counseling for not picking up my phone.

4d and 4f. I'd highlight those mfers. In the MC I hardly ever got duty relief days let alone more than 1 or 2 hours of sleep. Just awake 40+ hours until I finally got to sleep in my rack.

At one point they were short NCOs at my unit and we all had CQ or Staff duty at least 4 times a month.. Did like 6 months of that. I'd drive home and not remember leaving CQ half the time lol.

Man when I was still in, I was on staff duty for a whole month, as my unit had garrison detail. This would have been nice, 24 hours and no sleep. And on every other day took a toll.

We have a way that is better. Two can do this duty for an entire base or as an MOS. Every single movement, sounds, building, person, ect.

I stayed up for over 24 hours plenty of times. To be jobs it was dangerous to drive afterwards or perform my job. Glad the military is trying to correct this problem. It’s gonna save lives.
