Duane Pinson :
I use something similar and I take the cord that plugs into the radio through my shirt and out the back where my radio sits on my belt that way I don’t have all the wire in my way

I use something very similar. There is a clear earpiece that goes in my ear when I am working security at Holday World and working security at Lucas Stadium in Indianapolis.

What did this cost? I just purchased a listen only ear piece from Amazon, it was $10. A few of our officers use what I purchased and like it. If I could get rid of the bulky mic all together, that would be more comfortable.

I use it in corrections they are great nice to be the only one that hears your radio and they work good for running or when your wrestling with someone they don’t slide off as easily as the bigger mic

not an LEO, just a rando, however I use a radio sometimes, and in my opinion the "classic" PTT Mic is better, haven't had it fall off once even when running to somewhere

I would recommend purchasing a 2 piece G shape earpiece. So, 2 separate wires one has the PTT and one has the actual earpiece. Allowing you to wire this behind your shirt easier. More secure and clean

I have one from sheepdog I believe, I’ve had it for 11 months it has a button on the radio too but I like it and it’s never come off even in a fight.

I use the same one but it's definitely better under my shirt it's out of sight cause I've had people pull it on purpose

I have used this type of set up for over 10 years. Love it! But put the wires under your shirt. In a fight, going through brush, etc… you’ll lose the mic or ear piece will get ripped out.

We had ear pieces for the radios when I worked for my local school district. First time using one and now I swear by them. The only thing is, I’d try to put the wires in your shirt or something.
