we went yesterday for some lumber as well. Prices keep increasing and all lanes are self checkout. We walked out. prices go up, no employees to pay.

Had the same experience at Lowe’s and when I told the rep that everything had mold he said spray some bleach on it and it’ll be fine 🤦🏻♀️we ended up just leaving and getting our wood elsewhere

The lack of price tags on the lumber is crazy. I thought that was only at my local Lowe’s. Went a couple days ago to buy lumber and not one price tag to be seen anywhere.

you should contact that county's weights and measures department. in NYS all stores must provide accurate price tags on all products throughout the store, they will get fined if not.

They store it outside and it gets rained on. Bigger question is does wet lumber cause mold in homes? Or is the way it’s grown more prone to mold?

Not sure if it was said yet, but if you use your Lowe’s app on your phone it has a barcode scanner on it. I use it every day , I know more about the store than the Lowe’s employees.

The Lowe’s guy asked to supervisor if he could pull the lumber down? I used to work in the lumber department and Lowe’s and I would pull stuff down all the time, would just need to get a spotter.
