If you shampoo the carpets then make sure you use a cleaner that has enzymes in it to get out any pet odor! It was the only thing we could do for our carpets once upon a time! Works well!

I find that the Dyson is more of a service cleaner than I deep cleaner. You should try a normal vacuum. You’ll notice a change.

do next time in this order: carpet rake. CORDED UPRIGHT VACUUM. Then carpet cleaner. Stick vacs are NOT full size vacuum replacements.

I’d say get a carpet rake but also a heavier duty vacuum would help. Stick vacuums are only really good for everyday dirt/crumbs

cat hair gets stack in carpets, couches, pillows, beds, curtains and everything with any type of fabric on them so it might be a good idea to get everything washed/cleaned hope this helps
