Miele cat dog vacuum. Seriously so much better than Dyson. Has a lot more suction and power to it.

If you shampoo the carpets then make sure you use a cleaner that has enzymes in it to get out any pet odor! It was the only thing we could do for our carpets once upon a time! Works well!

you should get a rubber broom head! it picks up the animal fur that the vacuum struggles to grab. even the vacuums mawe for animal fur don't get it all out.
