battery terminals are wider at the bottom. 99% of time people are not pushing it on all the way down. loosen, smack it down, retighten

I use plyers and squeeze the terminal Till it is a little oval then tap it on with a hammer 😎

As a certified mechanic I’ve seen this a few times and it was on cars towed in with dead batteries. Just cut the cable and install a new terminal. Cheap and easy fix

don't ever do this. I've ran into sensor not wanting to function right because the change is resistance caused by those.

or you just can bend a penny and place it between the terminal and the battery terminal...cheaper than buy a new terminal and the shims🤣👍
