A year ago, I was pretty close to walking away from TikTok Shop altogether. For almost a year, I’ve felt like I’ve been standing still while watching other people move forward. And if I’m being honest, it’s hard not to question yourself when you’re putting in the time, believing in what you’re doing, and seeing very little change. Especially when people in your real life are telling you it’s a waste of time. But here’s what I know: there are plenty of people making significantly more money than I am who aren’t necessarily more talented, more knowledgeable, or even more pleasant to be around. And I’m not saying that out of bitterness. I’m saying it because success doesn’t always look the way we think it should, and the people making the most money aren’t always the people doing things the right way. I almost gave up on this. But I never stopped believing in myself. And the opportunities I’ve had, the relationships I’ve built, and the people I’ve met along the way? Those things are priceless, regardless of what my numbers say. So, I’m coming out of a slump. And I have a few things to say. 1. Lying makes you an asshole. 2. Lying about how much money you make makes you an asshole. 3. Scamming people into buying a product you don’t even like makes you an asshole. 4. Don’t be an asshole. You can want to make money. You can want to be successful. You can want more for yourself. Just don’t lose your integrity trying to get there. #heyitsmebeth
