I HATE CVS. My PBM is CVS Caremark and they prefer me to fill at CVS. It took them 5 days to fill my Synthroid 🤷♀️I've been going elsewhere for most scripts now.

💯 The CVS pharmacy I get my scripts from told me that answering the phone is a last priority when they are short staffed. Unfortunately the whole world is short staffed 😕

I recently had to switch to a small non-chain pharmacy. It’s a world of difference. CVS never has enough staff to just keep up with my refills.

Walgreens is the same near me… 3 days. I have three near me. One is closed Saturdays and the others are closed Sundays. They also send them offsite to be filled a lot of times.

I switched to the grocery store pharmacy. They’re amazing. Like 1/4 the size of the CVS and always have 4-5 people working behind the counter. Never had to wait more than 10 min vs. 4+ hrs in line

Former CVS pharmacist. We ran on a skeleton crew on a daily basis. I was the only pharmacist every day for 13 hour shifts. I had 2 FT techs, 2 PT. We were filling 400-600 scripts/day. Dangerous times

find a smaller local pharmacy. I'm a tech in a little local pharmacy and I know my patients names, kids names, sports the kids play, and I have stuff ready in 20 minutes. I LOVE my patients.
