@jelvillafuerte: I met an actual Datu! Datu Bao Baay, who used to be the vice mayor of Lake Sebu. He set up the T’boli Museum to preserve their heritage and create a space for cultural learning. I learned so much from him about the Kulintangs that were prominently displayed inside. 😃🪕🎶 I also visited the home of our national artist, Lang Dulay, in its temporary location, where I got to see some of the steps in the T’nalak weaving process. One of them is called Melek Kedungon, which is where they select the abaca fibers that will be used.
