@auspill: Despite diversity already having a strong and forced presence at the Australian Fashion Week, it isnt enough to satiate some people. Photographers work on commision, they need to take photos people actually want to see - that people are willing to buy. Despite the natural and justified inclination of Australians wanting people who look like them, and photographers catering to this, there will always be people who say that such a sentiment is evil or discriminatory- this is thinly veiled anti Australianism, depraving us of our representation and enjoyment of our own events just to appease these fringe groups. If you watch any of the Australian Fashion Week you'll see diversity is already strongly present and by most standards not needing anymore 'improvement'- although these crowds will ever be satisfied until there are zero Aussies on our own catwalk #australia #afw #australianfashion
