I just came back from a 3 day field trip with 40 5th graders and we could tell which kids were held often as babies (happy+independent) and which ones had to "self-soothe" (scared to do anything) 💖

I held my baby all the time during new born,now he is 8 mths old and doing just fine,playing by himself when I washing his bottle and cooking his food. He will cry if he already bored/tired.

All babies are different. I was obsessed with mine, but he wasn’t bothered w me and never cried if I wasn’t holding him. I was the clingy one 😂

thank goodness I learned how to tie my baby brother on my back so I could do things cause he was such a velcro baby with me he almost became one with my skin
