I give my 13 and 14 y/o brothers more consequences than my parents do (aka basically none). They don’t clean up their trash in the shared space? That tv remote comes with me to work LMAO.

I'm GenZ, went to a school notorious for being unable to keep teachers, and I 1000% agree. It is UNREAL. And both parents AND the school district put the burden on the teachers to "control" the kids

Natural consequences are such an important part of gentle parenting. Your child is acting crazy at the park, so you have to go home and leave. They can’t play nicely with a toy, they can’t have it.
