Each to their own. I find it breathtakingly beautiful. Nearby is Daitoku-ji, whose monks gave me the best explanation of Zen concepts I've ever had.

The bonzai tree opposite the temple is few hundred years old. And is more impressive. As it took human care to look like how it looks like.
