for the people that don’t know, this isn’t just about the food. it’s about being able to take something away that might be dangerous for the dog😊

You're the only trainer I've come across who actually uses food to counter act resource guarding like this. Amazing job 👏

this is dope. I had a food aggressive rottie rescue, realized that only when he had possession he got aggressive so I hand fed him every day like treats instead of meals and he stopped

Proof that starting young helps so much. Mine are usually free fed but always from day one worked on getting used to me being able to come in and touch food and swap or remove. Good job sir!

This is such a fantastic way of teaching this. It’s not about having power over the dog, but making sure IF you need to take the food, you can. And, that it doesn’t escalate into other resources

I fixed my dogs resource guarding by literally hand-feeding him. He couldn't wrap his head around guarding something that was still in my possession 😅

My border collie would resource guard when he was a puppy. I just took the time at every meal to have my hands around or in the bowl and sometimes hand feed. If he got a little aggressive I bopped his

I have a dog that resource gaurds ME, and our other dog also loves me so they fight like mad. Ones a GS, ones a Yorkie Mix (the aggressor). Our old trainer told us to just let them at each other but..

I started young with my puppies because of my nephews - everytime they ate, I would rub their heads, ears and paws. Even put my hand in the bowl - they got used to it and they never been protective.
