@alexsfoodieadventures: Pinchys, Melbourne CBD An amazing seafood restaurant tucked away in the heart of the CBD. Think lobster rolls, champagne & a gorgeous rooftop bar. We had their tasting menu which was priced at $80pp and this is a quick overview of everything we got and our thoughts: 🦀 King Crab Taco, avocado, spiced tomato salsa & coriander- loved this, crispy, flavoursome and juicy 🐟 Tuna Tartare, truffle honey, cucumber, crème fraiche & dill- delicious! Could’ve used a touch more dill & truffle! very fresh 🐙 Grilled Octopus, Davidson plum BBQ sauce, taramasalata, winter tomatoes & pickled chilli- tender, charred, delicious 🦐 Prawn Katsu, togarashi cream, melon & granny smith apple- star of the show for sure- the contrast of sweetness from the fruit & the spice from the sauce was heavenly- A MUST 🐠 Fish ‘n Chips - Crispy Whiting, 24 hour potatoes, homemade condiments & lemon- crispy batter, the potatoes were sooooo crispy and I loved how many condiments it came with as I’m a condiment girlie 🦞 Pinchy’s Lobster Roll, salt bush fries & béarnaise sauce: very good, but relatively small (not overall for the whole menu as we were stuffed but as a solo price of $40, it was quite small) The cocktails were delicious, service was very friendly and we loved the vibes!
