When my kids wanted to try public school I printed the school schedule and told them we would public school at home for a day so they could see what it's like. They decided they preferred homeschool

We did private school for a year. They begged to go back to homeschool once they got to ride a bus for a field trip. The Novelty was gone.

my son got kicked out of school before Homeroom the 1st day of middle school for a 2" mohawk. VP wouldn't even let him wash the gel out. It was the last straw w/ the school district. we knew

Mine got mad that I wouldn’t let him go to school with his cousin. They have a five year age gap and he didn’t understand why they couldn’t just be in the same class all day😂

I homeschooled my kid for 2 years during the pandemic and thankfully he did great and had no learning loss, but his growth socially and developmentally since going back to school has been amazing.
