you can avoid the sanding part by simply placing the gel x nail a little bit away from the cuticle and then sealing w acetone

Don’t put the tip so far back. Instead move it down by a few mm. Minimum filing needed and grows out look natural

Ohhhh thank you! I think my mistake is that I just use the acetone step, it does ok, but I imagine filing first then smuding with acetone will help me achieve a cleaner look.
